Gishki Grimness ▶︎ Deck 9.9 11 Gishki Grimness Effect Monster
- 2 Fish 600 700
If you Ritual Summon exactly 1 WATER Ritual Monster with a card effect that requires use of monsters, this card can be used as the entire Tribute. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 "Gishki" monster from your Deck, except "Gishki Grimness", also you can only declare attacks with Ritual Monsters until the end of this turn. You can only use this effect of "Gishki Grimness" once per turn.
Congratulations on first place.

After 10 years, they are back...
It is normally strong because it can SS without negate the effect of Gishki monsters from the Deck. In short, it says to bring out a versatile searcher (Gishki Abyss) that doesn't have a turn 1. As described later, you can aim for a ritual summon such as a gust krake continuous hit by making Abyss die from overwork.
Moreover, it is frightening that there are no deployment restrictions after this SS.
In the past, there weren't many ways to use it after Abyss was put out, but now it can be used as a link material, so it can be expanded further.
Especially recently, an outstanding card called "Spright Elf" has appeared, so you can use Grimm and the Abyss to revive the Elf, and the Elf to revive the Abyss and search again. If you don't mind the deployment restriction, you can use 《Marincess Coral Anemone》to revive the Abyss. Spright color is a little stronger, and after the ritual summon, he can turn the Spright gimmick with "Gigantic Spright".
However, if the recruitment of this card is stopped and Abyss cannot be pulled into the field, it will not lead to anything and the movement will be terribly weak. Unlike Gishki in the old days, he has a solid turn 1, so interfering with Grimm is pretty fatal. It is a place where you want to get through by all means by catching the back with strong money and erasing the grave.
…However, none of the essential cards Abyss, 《Gishki Shadow》or 《Gishki Vision》have been reprinted, and there are only DT cabinet cards from 10 years ago.
From now on, who will be able to team up with Gishki?

Rating Score Card Name Card-Type
Attribute Level Type ATK DEF
Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth ▶︎ Deck 9.6 41 Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth Effect Monster

Once per turn: You can discard 1 card; Special Summon as many Level 4 or lower Fish monsters as possible from your Deck, but they cannot declare an attack and their effects are negated. When a card or effect is activated that targets this card on the field (Quick Effect): You can Tribute 1 other Fish monster; negate that effect, and if you do, destroy that card.

The second place that narrowly missed first place was "Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth"

Shark Deck's proud recruiter.
It is a very important presence in the development, as it can bring out Future Dragon Emperor and Jellyfish Senpai from one card.
If you think about it as a practical class, you tend to focus on rank 4, but when summoning WATER X, you can treat it as level 3 or 5, which is also an excellent effect. Combined with 《Lantern Shark》, most of the Xyz monsters used by Shark can be X Summoned, so fans will be happy.
