update date : 2025/08/18

1stNumber S39: Utopia the Lightning

Rating Score Card Name Card-Type
Attribute Level Type ATK DEF
Number S39: Utopia the Lightning ▶︎ Deck 9.8 143 Number S39: Utopia the Lightning Xyz Monster
Effect Monster
- 5 Warrior 2500 2000
3 Level 5 LIGHT monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a Rank 4 "Utopia" monster you control as material. (Transfer its materials to this card.) Cannot be used as material for an Xyz Summon. If this card battles, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects until the end of the Damage Step. Once per Chain, during damage calculation, if this card battles an opponent's monster while this card has a "Utopia" Xyz Monster as material (Quick Effect): You can detach 2 materials from this card; this card's ATK becomes 5000 during that damage calculation only.
Congratulations on first place.

Rank 5 Best Xyz Monster Ranking
The honorable first place went to "Number S39: Utopia the Lightning"!

A simple and very powerful card, but also a badass card.
Although it does not have resistance to summoning reaction traps and free chain escape devices except when fighting, it has a lightness and power that more than makes up for it.
This effect completely denies Yu-Gi-Oh's tactics such as Flip Monsters and Combat Tricks. The game won't end with just one card, but I can't help but think that this overwhelming thought-stopping feeling should be banned.
I want Konmai to think a little more about making cards.

2ndUltimate Leo Utopia Ray

Rating Score Card Name Card-Type
Attribute Level Type ATK DEF
Ultimate Leo Utopia Ray ▶︎ Deck 9.8 9 Ultimate Leo Utopia Ray Xyz Monster
Effect Monster
- 5 Warrior 2500 2000
3 Level 5 monsters
(This card is always treated as "Number C39: Utopia Ray".)
Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card; equip 1 "ZW -" monster from your Deck or Extra Deck to this card as if it were equipped by that monster's effect. This effect's activation and effect cannot be negated. Once per turn, while this card is equipped with a "ZW -" monster Card (Quick Effect): You can target 1 Effect Monster your opponent controls; negate its effects, and if you do, halve its ATK.

The second place that narrowly missed first place was "Ultimate Leo Utopia Ray"
* In the event of a tie, the one with the highest total number of evaluations will be ranked higher.

Comprehensive evaluation: ZW's equipment and negate formation make it easy to form a formation that blocks the opponent's movement.
If you go first, equip ZW - Pegasus Twin Saber, and combine it with (2) to block monster effects up to 2 times.
If it's the second attack, 《ZW - Asura Strike》will be useful for all-out attacks, and 《ZW - Tornado Bringer》to add resistance will be useful.
You can also use 《Rank-Up-Magic Zexal Force》for how to put it out, making it easy to prepare.
Compared to 《Ultimate Dragonic Utopia Ray》, it's stronger during the opponent's turn and its effect can be used even without ZW, but it's somewhat inferior in terms of attacking during your own turn.

3rdArc Rebellion Xyz Dragon

Rating Score Card Name Card-Type
Attribute Level Type ATK DEF
Arc Rebellion Xyz Dragon ▶︎ Deck 9.7 21 Arc Rebellion Xyz Dragon Xyz Monster
Effect Monster
- 5 Dragon 3000 2500
3 Level 5 monsters
This Xyz Summoned card cannot be destroyed by card effects. You can detach 1 material from this card; this card gains ATK equal to the total original ATK of all other monsters on the field, then, if this card has a DARK Xyz Monster as material, negate the effects of all other face-up monsters on the field. After this effect resolves, you cannot declare attacks with other monsters for the rest of this turn. You can only use this effect of "Arc Rebellion Xyz Dragon" once per turn.

A card that shows the friendship between Yuuto and Kurosaki.
After adding Dark Rebellion and the original Rise Falcon effect, it has the effect of suppressing all monster effects. Somehow, this is an effect that seems to make Requiem flow.
In the state of X summoning, negate the destruction effect. I can't say that I'm safe because I have this, but it's a minimum amulet.
It boasts a top-class increase among his ATK absorption type that absorbs all his ATK other than himself. Also, since it is an effect that only targets himself, he can increase his ATK without depending on the opponent's resistance.
From the amount of increase, being attacked almost means the end of the game. In addition, the global effect negate is often not covered by resistance, and even cards with battle destruction resistance can be cut in half.
As expected, monsters in Defense Position cannot be damaged, but it's exhilarating to slash Borrel Swords and Astrams head-on and bring them to the end of the game.
As far as attacking from here, it can be said to be the strongest performance.
With Rank-Up-Magic and Raiders Knight, the requirements are very light.
The conditions are so light that it can be said that almost all rank 4 decks can be included, and it has become a dangerous era if you do not deal with it quickly when DARK rank 4 comes out.
