1stGishki Grimness

Rating Score Card Name Card-Type
Attribute Level Type ATK DEF
Gishki Grimness ▶︎ Deck 9.9 11 Gishki Grimness Effect Monster
- 2 Fish 600 700
If you Ritual Summon exactly 1 WATER Ritual Monster with a card effect that requires use of monsters, this card can be used as the entire Tribute. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 "Gishki" monster from your Deck, except "Gishki Grimness", also you can only declare attacks with Ritual Monsters until the end of this turn. You can only use this effect of "Gishki Grimness" once per turn.
Congratulations on first place.

The honorable first place went to "Gishki Grimness"!

In addition to the effect that can be used for the release procurement of "WATER" Ritual Monsters in (1), I think that it is excellent to have the effect of recruiting favorite "Gishki" monsters other than the same name as in (2). In particular, I think that recruiting 《Gishki Abyss》indirectly leads to searches for “Gishki” Ritual Monsters and “Gishki” Ritual Spells, which is a strength.

2ndBuzzsaw Shark

Rating Score Card Name Card-Type
Attribute Level Type ATK DEF
Buzzsaw Shark ▶︎ Deck 9.7 14 Buzzsaw Shark Effect Monster
- 4 Fish 1600 500
You can target 1 WATER monster you control; Special Summon from your Deck in Defense Position, 1 Fish monster with the same Level as that monster, but with a different name, and if you do, it cannot activate its effects this turn, also, you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Xyz Monsters. You can only use this effect of "Buzzsaw Shark" once per turn. If this card is used for the Xyz Summon of a WATER monster, it can be treated as a Level 3 or 5 monster.

The second place that narrowly missed first place was "Buzzsaw Shark"

What did I misunderstand, I thought I couldn't target myself...
Being able to reach Rank 4 with just one is excellent. After recruiting, only X can be deployed, but considering that it can be connected to excellent water X such as Bahasha and Kragen, it is light.
In addition, when summoning Water X, it can be treated as 3rd or 5th level. This depends on the cards used in combination, but the Lantern, which is one of the recruitment targets, has the same effect, so it is easy to use.
A card that will definitely come in handy when dealing with rank 4 water designation.

3rdSuperancient Deepsea King Coelacanth

Rating Score Card Name Card-Type
Attribute Level Type ATK DEF
Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth ▶︎ Deck 9.6 41 Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth Effect Monster
- 7 Fish 2800 2200
Once per turn: You can discard 1 card; Special Summon as many Level 4 or lower Fish monsters as possible from your Deck, but they cannot declare an attack and their effects are negated. When a card or effect is activated that targets this card on the field (Quick Effect): You can Tribute 1 other Fish monster; negate that effect, and if you do, destroy that card.

The ultimate wreck from Fish. The strongest class power card in Yu-Gi-Oh history.
At the beginning of his appearance, he could not do anything because of the restrictions of the monsters he Special Summoned, but after Synchro, he naturally wielded the violence of his card power. At that time, the Fish tuner was also broken, so he had a Fishborg gunner and was able to synchronize many times. It was also controversial that the effect does not have a turn 1 and causes a virtually infinite loop with Doroloop. Even after Gunner died, he continued to rampage with Xyz.
And time has passed, and link summoning and combos with modern cards are completely unstoppable. The problem with this card was that it was difficult to put out, but now that it can be deployed from the EX monsters 《White Aura Whale》and Skaldets, the tag is about to come off. On top of that, even though it's an old card, it's resistant to targets, allowing triggers like Veiler and Infinite Impermanence to pass through.
A level that will be banned even if it doesn't happen in the future.
