1stGishki Grimness

Rating Score Card Name Card-Type
Attribute Level Type ATK DEF
Gishki Grimness ▶︎ Deck 9.9 9 Gishki Grimness Effect Monster
- 2 Fish 600 700
If you Ritual Summon exactly 1 WATER Ritual Monster with a card effect that requires use of monsters, this card can be used as the entire Tribute. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 "Gishki" monster from your Deck, except "Gishki Grimness", also you can only declare attacks with Ritual Monsters until the end of this turn. You can only use this effect of "Gishki Grimness" once per turn.
Congratulations on first place.

The honorable first place went to "Gishki Grimness"!

In addition to the effect that can be used for the release procurement of "WATER" Ritual Monsters in (1), I think that it is excellent to have the effect of recruiting favorite "Gishki" monsters other than the same name as in (2). In particular, I think that recruiting 《Gishki Abyss》indirectly leads to searches for “Gishki” Ritual Monsters and “Gishki” Ritual Spells, which is a strength.

2ndSuperancient Deepsea King Coelacanth

Rating Score Card Name Card-Type
Attribute Level Type ATK DEF
Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth ▶︎ Deck 9.6 41 Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth Effect Monster
- 7 Fish 2800 2200
Once per turn: You can discard 1 card; Special Summon as many Level 4 or lower Fish monsters as possible from your Deck, but they cannot declare an attack and their effects are negated. When a card or effect is activated that targets this card on the field (Quick Effect): You can Tribute 1 other Fish monster; negate that effect, and if you do, destroy that card.

The second place that narrowly missed first place was "Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth"

Minor races can't attack, and although there are negate effects, it's an exceptional high-performance effect that allows you to recruit 4 monsters from the Deck at the cost of just one card in your hand. It can be used as a release agent for Tribute Summon, as a cost, or as a release agent to protect yourself.
A card that boasts one of the best performances among all cards as a low-level Recruiter, not only as a material, but also in conjunction with its own second half effect.

3rdBuzzsaw Shark

Rating Score Card Name Card-Type
Attribute Level Type ATK DEF
Buzzsaw Shark ▶︎ Deck 9.5 11 Buzzsaw Shark Effect Monster
- 4 Fish 1600 500
You can target 1 WATER monster you control; Special Summon from your Deck in Defense Position, 1 Fish monster with the same Level as that monster, but with a different name, and if you do, it cannot activate its effects this turn, also, you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Xyz Monsters. You can only use this effect of "Buzzsaw Shark" once per turn. If this card is used for the Xyz Summon of a WATER monster, it can be treated as a Level 3 or 5 monster.

He chooses one WATER on the field, and in Defense Position he has the effect of Special Summoning a Fish monster with the same level as that monster but with a different name, and if he puts out a WATER X monster, he has the effect of treating it as level 3 or 5. monsters.
Since another level 4 Fish is immediately lined up for himself, it is not only a high-speed rank 4 deployment gimmick that is equal to or better than the lantern, but it is a Special Summon from his deck that does not wear out, so it will be useful after the middle stage. If the card to be recruited is 《Lantern Shark》, what's the point?
As a card aimed at X summoning, it has non-standard performance. 《Bahamut Shark》has received the tailwind of the revision of the new master rule, so further development is expected.
