《Predaplant Verte Anaconda》was banned and 《Fusion Destiny》was pretty castrated due to restrictions. If the Anaconda had stopped limiting, it would still be in use.
Deck construction is basically 40 cards, but the Despheni business trip set has 2 Effect Monsters and Despheni appears, so considering that you don't want to take out Dhero, the idea is that it's better to have more than 40 cards.
