His Artifact bearing the name of the hero Roland's beloved sword, Durandal. According to the original text, it seems to have destruction resistance, but it has two tricky abilities based on the interpretation of "a sword that cuts off memories".
The first is an effect that converts the effects of monster effects, normal spells, and normal traps into cyclones limited to the opponent's field. You can negate the opponent's effects and have the opponent destroy his Artifact on your field, leading to a development. The range is also a mysterious designation, but it has a wide range that is difficult to fall with negation.
Since there are no material restrictions, he can be used with a Rank 5 Deck that does not use Artifact, but in that case, be aware that if you do not have his Spell/Trap on your field, you cannot rewrite the opponent's effect. Keep in mind that you can also Cyclone unwanted effects on your side. It can also be used with a dream of actively detonating a single face-down 《Waking the Dragon》, in which case it would be more convenient to handle it with a non-Artifact Deck.
The second effect is Reload, which affects both allies and enemies. It can disrupt searches, but it doesn't really synergize with Artifact, and it's rarely seen because the first effect can't be used the turn it's activated. However, by chaining to the activation and special summoning Protector of the Sanctuary, or by chaining Durandal and Droll & Lock Bird immediately after the opponent's search, you can get all the handicap.
