To be honest, if it's just for the purpose of doubling the reflected damage, it's almost backward compatible with 《Mahaama the Fairy Dragon》.
If you play "Mahaama the Fairy Dragon" when dealing reflected damage, you can do almost the same thing as "Cross Counter".
The combination of 《Mahaama the Fairy Dragon》and 《Stone Statue of the Aztecs》can aim for 4x reflected damage, but the combination of 《Cross Counter》and 《Stone Statue of the Aztecs》cannot be stacked.
Unlike Cross Counter, which can only be used face down, Mahaama the Fairy Dragon is more ambush since it comes from your hand. do not have.
《Mahaama the Fairy Dragon》can be searched with 《Sangan》, etc. Even if its existence is revealed, it is difficult to reveal that it is aimed at reflected damage.
There is also the option of substituting 《Mahaama the Fairy Dragon》itself for 《Stone Statue of the Aztecs》, which can prevent 《D2 Shield》and 《Rise to Full Height》from decaying.

It is a card for high defense power and a card that is mainly active in mine-type decks like Aztec, and if you use it in combination with a defense strengthening / weakening card around Aztec with double damage, you can deal tremendous damage + removal.
Unfortunately, it doesn't quadruple the damage even when used with Aztec, and it's easy to be removed before activation because of its attack reaction.
Because it is desirable to use it with many sets due to its characteristics, it is easy to be wary of Azteca. If it is a stronghold, it is easy to overcome this point to some extent, so I definitely want to use it together.
In addition to being reactive to attacks, it is recommended for combos where it is desirable to use some kind of card in order to make the most of it, so it takes a little effort. The explosive power when it is decided is attractive.
I think it's a card for advanced players due to the characteristics of his Deck that should be used.

Aztec + Thousand Needles.

You can combine it with a card with a huge defensive power, or you can aim for a low grade 2100 or so.
