If you play "Mahaama the Fairy Dragon" when dealing reflected damage, you can do almost the same thing as "Cross Counter".
The combination of 《Mahaama the Fairy Dragon》and 《Stone Statue of the Aztecs》can aim for 4x reflected damage, but the combination of 《Cross Counter》and 《Stone Statue of the Aztecs》cannot be stacked.
Unlike Cross Counter, which can only be used face down, Mahaama the Fairy Dragon is more ambush since it comes from your hand. do not have.
《Mahaama the Fairy Dragon》can be searched with 《Sangan》, etc. Even if its existence is revealed, it is difficult to reveal that it is aimed at reflected damage.
There is also the option of substituting 《Mahaama the Fairy Dragon》itself for 《Stone Statue of the Aztecs》, which can prevent 《D2 Shield》and 《Rise to Full Height》from decaying.

It is a card for high defense power and a card that is mainly active in mine-type decks like Aztec, and if you use it in combination with a defense strengthening / weakening card around Aztec with double damage, you can deal tremendous damage + removal.

Aztec + Thousand Needles.
