There are some things that can work strongly if you fit into a mold. However, there are many more versatile and excellent meta cards.

Since it's a level declaration, it's useless against Link Xyz.

Xyz Monster doesn't work like that!
If Synchro and Fusion Monsters are excluded, the advantage is that you can inflict a considerable amount of damage on your opponent.
It's also nice to make it difficult to reuse.
Before synchronizing, it's good to do it at the same time as the fusion is activated.
The downside is that it's up to the opponent to decide what to exclude, and it's useless against monsters of the same level or 2 or 3 stacks of the same name.

After all, nobody uses it, but Existence seems to settle down as a card that affects Constructed.

Due to its level, it can't be used against Xyz, but it can be removed from Extras that are painful for Fusion/Synchro.
Scrap and The Six Samurai are decks with multiple main synchros, so this is a good adjustment because it turns into hot stones and water.
It's a handicap if you miss, but it's a nice effect for Dark World.
There is also a way to use the effect of Dark World by declaring 3 on purpose to force it to be discarded.
