It can protect strong oppressive cards such as 《Skill Drain》, 《There Can Be Only One》, 《Rivalry of Warlords》and 《Gozen Match》. In particular, it has a tremendous compatibility with Skidre, and does not waste even the summoned stada.
You can put out a stand, but you can't ignore the resurrection limit, so the stand you put out with Starlight can't come back due to its own effect.
The rival is 《The Huge Revolution is Over》. This is a strong enemy that can't be put out for free, but he can be eliminated with Counter Trap. However, Starlight is just an approach to removing the back, and The Huge Revolution is Over, which even removes it, has a sense of overkill, so I think Starlight is enough.

Although it competes with King Grapha and rank 8 control forces, it is worth adopting because it has the power to blow them away with a snort. Pancra is Skidre's good partner and natural enemy. Also, 《Stardust Dragon》is a very good matchup because you can protect your skid with 《Starlight Road》and your own effect, and you can overcome the disadvantage of Sin state.
