Playing

This time, Dark World is the deck commentary, or rather the analysis of Deck, which I have been making into a series recently. Assuming that the environment will change and there will be no Dragon Ruler or Madou, I thought that this genre would gain strength again, so I put it together. Basically, Dragon Ruler and Mage can also be countered from the side, so I think it will work reasonably well in the current environment.
It includes some introductory content that you don't have to ask now, but it's still important to spin the Deck, so if you're thinking of making a Dark World for the first time or are already using Dark World, I would appreciate it if you could pay attention to those who are. (If you can't read it because it's too long, just read through the customization points and you'll get a general idea of his deck concept.
What I thought about when creating the Deck this time was what kind of Deck balance would be good if the Dark World, which is easy to put in meta cards, is easy to draw meta cards to the extent that it is not extreme.
As for the next environment, we are focusing on the maiden decks that are likely to increase in the future, as well as Mermail, which is likely to fall into the category of strong decks in an environment where there are no more Dragon Rulers and Madou. (The main meta cards are Skidre and Yami Deck. Others will be replaced on the side.

Strength

: Notes on turning the Deck.
・The effects of Dark World monsters are only activated when they are discarded, so the effect of "Send to GY" does not activate. Also, even if it's a discard effect, it doesn't support effects that activate after discarding as a cost, like Thunder Break, so Dark World monster effects can't be activated. Another thing is that even if the card is discarded due to the hand limit, the conditions for activating the effects of Dark World monsters are "when discarded by an effect", so these discarded cards can still activate their effects. I can't.
・If you have an Effect Monster you want to activate on the field, don't use 《Dark World Dealings》first. Since this Deck has Effect Monsters that lead to the development of Guides and Reviere, etc., if you use a deal to force your opponent to exchange cards before activating their effects, the chances of the Veiler being drawn increase. put away. So if you want to activate it, wait until the effect of the guide is confirmed, or when there are no other cards that can be activated.
・If you have a card in your hand that can reduce his deck, such as a guide or 《Foolish Burial》, try to use it before activating a draw effect. In particular, the guide will Special Summon the basic browser, but if the GY is full of Dark World monsters and the cost of the gate effect can be afforded, the guide will Special Summon the guide and remove all items other than the Dark World in the Deck. It is used to lower the ratio of monsters, so you don't have to worry about guides being covered by draw effects.
・When forming a chain for annihilation, etc., the order of forming the chain of Blau and Snow should be in the following order: 1) Blau 2) Snow. If Snow activates the effect in reverse order, he can compress the deck before Brow draws, increasing the chance that the card drawn by the Brow effect is a meta card or a defensive trap. (However, for those who are concerned about the cards drawn with Brow overlapping the cards searched with Snow, I think it would be a good idea to first look at the cards drawn with Brow and then search with Snow. .
・If you want to revive Grapha with Monster Reborn and there are other Dark World monsters in GY, revive other Dark World monsters instead of Grapha. After that, Grapha's effect allows him to Special Summon himself, so you can earn extra for the monsters returned to your hand rather than hitting Grapha with Revive alone.
・For Dark World monsters, if she has Grapha in her GY, make sure to keep at least one card in your hand. When I go to activate the Darkness Deck, I often end up in a situation where I have 1 Dark World monster in my hand and 1 GY: Grapha 1, but in this state, I just need to summon Grapha, which will be the medium of the Darkness Deck, so I can use Grapha on the next turn as well. It's a good idea to keep other Dark World monsters that can be summoned in your hand to prevent them from being destroyed by your opponent. (Even if he can draw two cards, such as Blau, Trading, etc., there is no guarantee that the cards he draws will include Dark World monsters that he can Normal Summon, so this is another Dark World of hers. Let's make it activate when you draw a monster.
・In a situation where the Dark Deck or Escape is face down, and you are worried about the opponent's traps, use Grapha in GY, Blau in your hand, and if you have Bage, use Normal Summon to bring out Grapha. If the gate is activated, it will rise to 1700, but if this is not the case, his ATK for this card is 1400, so there is no chance of being caught in the abyss at the Normal Summon stage. (Psychologically, it's common to want to exclude Grapha, but recently there are more and more cases of dealing with monsters in front of Grapha by being wary of Dark Decks and the like.
With this, even if you put back Blau and put out Grapha and it hits the abyss, with the Dark Deck you can destroy all the opponent's traps while allowing Grapha to escape, and if you escape, you can return Grapha who can use the destruction effect again, so just summoned Bage. It will be more profitable than recovering by escaping because it will escape.
・Be sure to use "Dragged Down into the Grave" as early as possible to eliminate or trade, and activate it after confirming that the opponent's hand will not be replaced any more. Increases the efficiency of activating Minecraft and Darkness Decks from the last seen opponent's hand. (However, if you have the same Dark World monsters in your hand, and you only have his Spell Trap that can be turned down, even if there is a 《Dark World Dealings》, it will be activated from 《Dragged Down into the Grave》. Let's.
Example: Snow x2 in hand, Grave, Trade
Turn the deal face down → Activate Grave, Snow is the only option the opponent has, so discard Snow → Snow effect Grapha search → Activate the hidden deal, discard Grapha → Summon Snow Grapha effect Snow is returned ss
Activating from the grave like this can also be an ideal deployment.
In this example, if you activate it from the deal, the card drawn by that effect will not necessarily be the card you want to discard in the grave, and Snow's effect will also search for it, so you can use the card you aimed for in the grave afterwards. Throwing away will not be difficult with this. So it's important to try not to give your opponent a choice where you can't control it like this. (Especially since he doesn't use Minecraft in Dark World, Peeping can only be used for viruses, so Graves, which are difficult to handle, often activate before trading.
・When activating 《Dragged Down into the Grave》, cards other than those you want to discard will be placed face down on the field. keep it.
Recently, there are many Decks that use Field Spell (Madolche, Drag, also Dark World, etc.), so if you activate Grave in the early stages when you don't know if it can be deployed or not, you can avoid re-stretching from the opponent, or if the opponent activates it. Let's set the gate to re-stretch the Field Spell. (However, of course, if you have a hand that can be expected to develop after the grave, I think you can activate the gate.
・If you have Obliteration in your hand, you don't have any Dark World monsters in your hand, so even if you think it's a waste, let's activate it. If you go first, you can see the tendency of that person's deck by the cards that the opponent discarded (what is the most painful in his deck if you drop a card with Minecraft or Dark Deck), and you can find cards that lead to developments in your hand. It's easy to bring along. At that time, I think that it is better to leave only one card in the Dark Deck, and if there are two or more gates overlapping, I think it is good to leave at least one card in your hand.
・Don't Xyze immediately after using the guide effect to brow. If there is a card with an effect that draws or changes the hand, it is not very good to summon a monster by prejudice, because the way the card develops will change depending on the situation of the hand. (For a specific example, it is a state where monsters can be excluded with gates, etc., and if Grapha is in GY, the Xyz destination is Leviale. Conversely, during that turn, Grapha could not be dropped into his GY. We will change the target, such as Wind-Up if it is.
Especially when it's a guide effect, even if the opponent doesn't have Veiler in their hand and can't stop it, there's a good chance the opponent will draw Veiler through a deal or something while it's being deployed, so it's a good idea to Xyz first and then go to the grave. He can negate the effect of Xyz Monster by chaining when activating etc. (Before you Xyz, you can drop Veiler in the Grave, so it's not a problem. From these things, you can see that the first Xyz is not very good.
:combo
Mind Crush》can be used for peeping by itself, and the discard from the grave is simply strong. You can also use it by declaring a card that is definitely not in your hand and discarding Dark World from your hand to his GY. In addition, if there are many face-down cards, you can activate it during the opponent's draw phase and declare a great storm, which can be used as an insurance policy to prevent total destruction in the first place. (In this deck of him, I put it in because I'm conscious of handicap, but if you're aiming for a style that allows you to play while interfering with your opponent, it's pretty good to make these two cards Dark Smog.
*Note that 《Mind Crush》can't be activated when you don't have any cards in your hand, because you can't pay the cost if it misses.
Eradicator Epidemic Virus》is one of the cards I want to add to my hand quickly. In the current environment, the Dragon Ruler is rampaging, so it can't be used that much, but if the environment changes and the Dragon Ruler Deck is gone, there will be fewer decks that can't be stuck.
If your opponent's hand is heavily loaded with traps and you want to declare a trap, wait until the opponent's end phase, or until this card is targeted by Cyclone or the material monster is about to be destroyed. . In the case of a trap, it won't be activated by the opponent until your next turn comes, so you don't have to go out of your way to remove the wall at the start of your opponent's turn. (It's a little trick, but if you don't know if your opponent's Deck is biased towards traps or spells (such as HERO beats), you can decide by looking at the cards discarded by your opponent in trading etc. Even if you don't have Graves in your hand and you don't know what your Dark Deck targets, the more you deploy, the more your opponent will be delayed by one turn. Since you don't want to keep it in your hand, I think you can gain an advantage by declaring a Spell while paying attention to holistic destruction.
This card can also be used to escape when Grapha is about to be eliminated in the abyss.
Mind Crush》and Dark Deck are included at a ratio of 2:3, but if the opponent's Deck is his Madolche or Mermail, Minecraft, which can drop monsters, is prioritized over Dark Deck, so I put it as my main deck. The balance in 3 is fine with Minecraft 3 and Dark Deck 2.
I think two 《Skill Drain》is enough for a normal fight. For some he recommends running 3 from the side in his decks that rely on Madolche and Effect Monsters. (By the way, it's difficult to say whether Skidre will stick to Dragon Ruler. It's strong if you chain it to an effect after Big Eye appears, but if something like Dragosac appears, negate the effect of summoning a token. Even if you can do it, another destructive effect will be released and activated, so Dragosak himself will be released and will disappear from the field before the effect of Skidre is applied, so the destructive effect will be activated without any problems, and Skidre will be activated. Dragon Ruler can normally line up 4 or more level 7 monsters in a single turn, so with this you can't stop the second Dragosak.
Ennead is a monster that has a destructive effect on the entire field, which is valuable for this deck that does not use Cyclone Storm as a main. The effect of this card is destruction that does not target, so it does not allow your opponent to Sacrifice Escape, and you can destroy monsters with effects that are activated by targeting or cannot be targeted without asking questions. In the case of Dark World, you can use Grapha-san, who can be revived immediately, as food for the effect, so if you only have one card, you can destroy the cards on the opponent's field without actually losing any cards. (Note that the release of Enerad is not a cost, but an effect. Well, it's a sacred time, after all; All rank 8s are two copies.
Flawless is the most important card in the extras. It destroys most of the monsters with its inherent high RBI, and I think it's pretty strong to be able to compete with Otome no Ginryu, who is likely to increase in the future, and sin, who has lost RBI so far. (Furan Ken can negate not only his spell traps that remain on the field, but also his normal spell traps, so it's very safe to keep this card upright after hitting with two graphers.
Interdimensional Dragon can negate destruction resistance such as Dragosac, which he is not good at in Dark World, and can also negate the effects of Maidens without targeting them. Especially in the case of Otome, if Ginryu and Otome are lined up at the same time, you can use this card to negate them all at once. Against Battlin' Boxer, this card really shines. Lead Blow is a monster that has a good presence and can exceed 3000 hit points with its effect, so it is very incompatible with Dark World, but if you negate the effect with the effect of the space-time dragon and return the attack and defense to the original 2200. Even if the opponent activates a Counter Blow, the Interdimensional Dragon's ATK will increase by 1000 by chaining to it, so it won't be a problem at all.
Black Corn. Wind-Up and Mae Stroke. They will send it to GY. . It will burn you 1000 points. . .
Gem-Knight Pearl》. One Chan Evilswarm's opinion countermeasures. Well, he's an Evilswarm with a lot of traps, so I don't think it's possible to destroy him in battle, but I've included it anyway. (Those who think that Evilswarm only needs countermeasures from the side should replace this frame with 《Gagaga Cowboy》. Vailer's danger increases, but he can deal with Evilswarm and hits up to 3000 points. If so, you can bring it into the trade and use the 800 burn as a finisher.
chain. The ideal flow would be to Xyz the Special Summoned Snow from Revaier with the same Special Summoned Bage and drop Grapha with its effect. However, unless you have a basic Grapha in your hand and he is not in GY, he will only reduce the number of Dark World monsters, so there is no point in summoning him. (However, if you have Trance Archfiend on your axis, you can change the summoning right to Grapha just by having a page in your hand, so I think it will be very useful.
The Master Key Beetle is the medium of the Darkness Deck. I think that it is good to put out when you want to protect the gate by itself. (As an aside, if you set Braho or Torrent Funeral as the target of this card's scapegoat effect and then activate it, even if you destroy the selected card with Key Beetle's effect as a substitute for total destruction, Braho Torrent Funeral will already have the effect. Since it is activated, it will be processed without any problems, and only the Key Beetle will remain on the field without being destroyed.
Revise Dragon is included because it is a Rank 3 that allows you to freely remove materials. When activating the gate, he Xyz summons this card from the guide, such as when GY does not have a monster to exclude or a card to discard from his hand, and the effect sends materials such as Blau to her GY. can be done. This makes it easier to activate the effect of the gate. (However, if Revise is Xyz Summoned, there will be no Dark World monsters left on the field, so even if you manage to drop Grapha to GY, if you have used the summoning right, unless you are in a situation where Bage etc. can be discarded. It will be difficult to Special Summon during the turn.Basically, this Deck wants to aim for the Dark Deck from the first turn, so cards that make it difficult to put out graphers (Wind-Up, Revise, Chain, etc.) It is better not to put it out if possible.
Riviere. It's a key card monster in the guide axis, but the reason why I put two is because I don't use other rank 3 basically. When I'm having a lot of trouble with the deployment, I use the guide to revive and Wind-Up, but with this Deck, there's almost no opportunity to get rank 3 out of the guide, so if you're not having trouble with the deployment, use two guides. It is stronger to spend all the opportunities of the Riviere.
Acid Golem. I want to destroy Opion with 3000 RBI. If you're running out of materials, use Skidre to erase the demerits, use Snow to search for Silva's Tribute, or use Ennead's effect as a source of sustenance.
Wind-Up. It is a relay role when you are in trouble at the beginning. You can break troublesome monsters and annoying bags with a suicide attack. For the time being, when you can't move with this Deck, it's when your hand is full of monsters or traps are piled up, so if it's a trap, he'll just put Wind-Up and his traps face down and you'll get a lot of damage. It can be used for deterrence.

Weakness

Weak to Evilswarm, Exclusion, and Mirrors. When fighting Evilswarm it's a bit tough to stop Grapha's destructive effects. The hardest thing about exclusion is getting hit by chain macros, so let's stack Cyclone from the side and use it together with the Dark Deck to survive. (I think it's okay to some extent because the monster's exclusion effect has a skid.
In terms of single cards, mistakes and 《Thunder King Rai-Oh》are cards that prevent searches, so I'm not good at it, but 《Thunder King Rai-Oh》can be dealt with in battle, with Graffa effects, or with Skidre. Even if you enter the Otome Deck, which has less search, if you put meta against the opponent's Deck, the Deck will spin well. I think it's better.
The biggest weakness is still Dark World.
: How to fight in the mirror
I'm not saying you should set up a side for the mirror, but the threat of the Dark World is still the Dark World, so it will be necessary to change the contents of your Deck and how you fight to some extent. (To put it bluntly, in a showdown between Dark Worlds, the one who makes a half-baked move first loses. Especially if both parties don't yet know each other's decks and trigger trades etc. It is the end.
・Anti-Dark World cards
D.D Crow, 《Debunk》, 《Dark Smog》, 《Crimson Blader》, 《Eradicator Epidemic Virus
If you're talking about a card that doesn't affect your own Dark World and can be a meta for your opponent, it's around here. Anyway, Dark World will end once Grapha is eliminated, so I don't think it's a problem to include Crow Penetration Miasma. Cribble is the hardest, but if you build a Dark World Deck around Raven, it should be easier to summon. (Graffa will exceed her ATK of Cribble under gate activation, so be careful.
Dark Deck is especially effective, but it's difficult to get his spells with discard effects to the point where they can be activated in limited situations, so if you use it, monsters should have discard effects. There is no choice but to increase the number of cards. (Just if you can activate it, you will have a considerable advantage.
With all of this in mind, the Dark World meta would benefit from a composition with a discard effect and Tuner Raven.
From the point of view of how to fight, first of all, the threatening cards that can be used against basic opponents using his Dark World are the effects of Grapha, Snow, and Silva, which are triggered by the discard effect.
Grapha steals monsters from our hand and Snow steals monsters from her GY. And the biggest threat is Silva's effect of returning two cards from the opponent's hand to the Deck. According to the rules, the order of building a chain is from the turn player of that turn, so even if you activate the effect of his Dark World monster with the effect of discarding how much, the effect will be processed first from the opponent's Dark World, It will interfere with the development of this site.
So, basically, if the opponent knows that it's his Dark World in the match, on the first turn, use cards that only affect you as much as possible, and keep your hand with only his Dark World monsters. Returning a turn is most effective. Moreover, at this time, it is best not to summon or set Bage, Brow, etc. that do not have any interfering effects when discarded by opponent's effects and remain in your hand. Even if the deal doesn't activate, there is a chance that your opponent will activate Dragged Down into the Grave, so it's good if the cards you make your opponent choose at that time are all cards that will be a problem for your opponent. (For this reason, there are times when it is better to use Gold as a monster to use against Dark World than Silva, which returns the opponent's hand to her deck. .
And in battles between Dark Worlds, the most important card is the gate, which is mainly effective only for you, so you need to think a lot about how you interact with your opponent there. If you're aiming for a Dark Deck or something like that, you can replace the Gate in one turn and keep using the effect, but if you end up with a half-hearted development, you'll have to deal with the opponent and the number of Gates. Since it creates an ad difference, it makes the duel disadvantageous overall. So, in order to control the advantage and disadvantage here, I think that it will be essential to have a cyclone that can destroy the gate activated by the opponent to replace it. (Of course, Cyclone is a card that is necessary to break the back of Miasma by itself, so I think it's better to think that he can't make it in time for the battle between Dark Worlds with the basic Grapha's destruction effect alone.
Let's take a good look at the opponent's movement before activating Grave. If the opponent has already used effects such as Grapha or Snow, there is a high chance that he will have a page left in his hand that allows him to Special Summon, so even if your opponent throws it away, you will do as much damage as possible. Let's activate it in a state where does not appear.
Against the Dark World, traps such as escape devices don't make much sense, so if you want to add a trap, it's good to include an abyss or 《Dimensional Prison》. (《Mind Crush》, Skidre, etc. are almost meaningless in this case, so I think it would be better to fix the miasma and replace it with another trap. If you don't think so, put in three.
As you can see from actually using Dark World, it is more difficult than expected to not accumulate fiends for the gate effect in GY, so if the gate is searched for by snow etc. in the opponent's hand, miasma I think it's a good idea to immediately chain to and always keep in mind not to leave Fiends in the opponent's GY.
It is the basic opponent's back that is destroyed by the Grapha effect. If we can activate Snow's interference effect, let's steal the opponent's Grapha.

Customize

I also tried a Deck with 《Reckless Greed》, but in the end, even if I tried to spin the Deck, it would be delayed by one turn. I came to the conclusion that it would be better to put a meta card in this slot rather than putting it in. (In the first place, he wants to play Grapha on turn 1 to hit a dark deck, so he's not a good match for the deck overall.
As I wrote above, I think it would be interesting to replace the frame of 《Mind Crush》with 《Dark Smog》. Against Dark World, the mere presence of this card on the field will cause the opponent to fall and prevent him from dropping Grapha into his GY. If you want to keep Minecraft and compete with Mirror even if you are free, I think you should change the frame of the escape device to 《Dark Smog》. (Although the defensive tag becomes zero;
Vergrant did not enter this time. In the first place, I myself didn't think that Vergrant was a good match for Dark World, so I didn't think it would be necessary for this Deck to create an effect-resistant monster with a hit point lower than 3000 and using two Grapha as materials, so I decided not to use it. I was. (If you put it in, it seems that there is a lot of extra frames left, or it is a type that can use the effect of total removal a lot. Since that kind of card is not included, I put monsters with a little more versatility in the extras.
If you do, let's replace one of the space-time dragons with this card.
It might also be interesting to include sin Stardust. In particular, after activating the gate and excluding it with a cost, it's the most scary thing to be destroyed by a cyclone chain, so if you have this monster, you won't have to worry about that. Moreover, I think that this monster alone can be used as a medium for the Dark Deck, so it will not rot.
:side
Cyclone 3
Deck Devastation Virus》3
Mind Drain》3
Devilian Song 3
Storm 1
Mind Crush》1
Skill Drain》1
Cyclone Storm is included to break exclusion spell traps. In fact, Oarashi doesn't really fit in his Dark World because he has a lot of backs, but if he goes first and puts up a macro, he won't be able to turn the deck at all, so I will increase the probability that he will come in the first hand as much as possible. I put it in for you. (If a big storm hits in the second half, there's almost no chance of activating it; well, it's an insurance policy.
Magic Deck is the best card for girls who will jump into the next environment. Including Otome, you can destroy all cards that would fit in most Otome Decks (《Shining Angel》, Honest, 《Swordsman of Revealing Light》) from your hand on the field. Otome Deck doesn't have many search-type cards, so I think it's pretty painful for Recruiter to be dropped to her GY, so I think it's a good decision to adopt this card. Especially in the case of this Magic Deck, unlike the Dark Deck, the cost monster's ATK is 2000, so even Snow under the gate activation satisfies the activation conditions.
Mind Drain》is included to work against Dragon Ruler, but the main meta target is Mermail. In addition, I think that it is very reassuring to be able to stop D.D. Crow, Grapha's natural enemy.
Devilian Song is included to be effective against Dragon Ruler and Evilswarm, but if Dragon Ruler disappears in the next environment, it will be too late after summoning Opion, etc., than this card will make him completely meta in Evilswarm. I think that it is good to put in a meta ion with a target. Dark World decks don't often use summon rights, so if you skip Opion with Metaion and then Special Summon Grapher, it will be difficult for your opponent to lose Opion on the next turn. In that sense, I think Metaion is a good fit.
Mind Crush》and 《Skill Drain》are going to the side that are not in the main. If it's obvious that her deck has only that card as a key card, you can declare that card in Minecraft from the first turn. You can carry the battle to your advantage. (There is still Recruit's Shining Angel left, but if it's set, it shouldn't be destroyed in battle, and if it comes with a suicide attack, you'll gain a turn, so either way, there's a possibility that you can set up a meta with other cards. "Skill Drain" also works well in the Otome Deck, so I thought about using three copies.
When switching sides, I use the frame of the escape device, and depending on the situation, I will switch 《Mind Crush》and the Magic Deck, which is easier to handicap than Minecraft. If you're having trouble finding space to put Cyclone and other meta cards in, I think you should use the 《Upstart Goblin》frame.
This time, I built the deck without considering the mirror. I'm still not completely sure about the decks in the next environment, so I made it possible to set a meta with some expectations, but if Dark World doesn't appear in the next environment, this deck will have a certain degree of environmental advantage. I would be happy if you could refer to it.
Next time, I'm thinking of making a Synchro Dark World for Dark World, so I'd like to post more details on how to fight with Raven, etc.
Let's make other decks meta-meta in the Dark World in the next environment b (what; then..
