Strong Deck For those who want to create a "murderous muscle-brain deck" that can fight even against strong opponents, how about an ancient machine? I basically don't use Link Monster because the old rules haven't changed much.
If possible, my main goal is to avoid giving information to the opponent, and when the opponent deploys, I set up a mechanical fortress and summon a chaos giant to kill him. A normal ace card is just a target for chaos giants.
"It doesn't seem to be very maneuverable, but it's surprisingly possible to win with Beat Burn or overwhelm with VFD."
Here are some comments about the recruitment card that I would like to explain.
・《Ancient Gear Golem》＆《Ancient Gear Golem - Ultimate Pound》
3 sheets in total. The idea is that it would be nice if his deck fusion of 《Ancient Gear Fusion》could produce full power 《Ancient Gear Megaton Golem》. 《Ancient Gear Golem - Ultimate Pound》is rarely used. Use this when you have too many monsters in your hand and you can't call Chaos Ancient Gear Giant.
・《Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon》
2 sheets. Shadow Ace. Being able to destroy the Spell Trap in addition to the suppression effect +α of the ancient machine during battle is really reassuring when balanced or superior.
・《Gameciel, the Sea Turtle Kaiju》
"For the opponent's suppression effect." It would be nice to release a guy who uses an effect that can't be protected with "Ancient Gear Fortress". If you release an ace card, the RBI will drop slightly, so it also means changing the target of 《Chaos Ancient Gear Giant》.
・《Ancient Gear Box》
1 sheet. I feel that if I have 2 cards, my hand fusion will be stable, but if I have 1 card, it will be difficult to draw, so I decided to use 1 card.
・《Ancient Gear Frame》
2 sheets. 《Ancient Gear Box》searches for a machine body. I rarely use Tribute Summon, and focus on search. 《Ancient Gear Golem》I get the impression that more people search for it than 《Ancient Gear Fusion》. Surprisingly, his Spell Trap containment is useful.
・《Proliferating G》
Three. If you use Urara on this guy, the effect of "Ancient Gear Wyvern" will pass easily. The more special summons you have, the more targets you have and the more cards you have in hand, so it's a win-win... but if you don't care about it, you'll get one kill...
・《Kuriphoton》
2 sheets. defense card. Originally, it was an Urara frame, but I often couldn't see the mast counter or it wouldn't stop even if I hit it, so I decided to use it as a defensive card. It is often defeated by 《Called by the Grave》and 《Solemn Strike》, but you can prevent one-kill from mass deployment and conversely you can one-kill. A scarecrow (the fader cannot be used with 《Ancient Gear Catapult》) is also fine, but it is a free chain and works somewhat against Trickstar, so I use this one.
Spells
・Fusion Spell
"Power Bond" is a stack of 3, longing for its overwhelming destructive power. 《Chaos Ancient Gear Giant》and 《Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem》give him instant game-ending power, and 《Ancient Gear Howitzer》also becomes his ATK as a quasi-attacker. Considerable firepower when combined with Burn.
"Ancient Gear Fusion" is searched and used when "Ancient Gear Golem" is present. Don't expect bargains.
・Field Spells
"Geartown" is of course 3. The pin stabbing is 《Black Garden》and 《Chicken Game》. I'm not sure, but I have two search cards, so I use them depending on the situation.
"Black Garden" is the best match for "Chaos Ancient Gear Giant". Burn of Ancient Gear Hunting Hound → Attack the two created tokens with Chaos Giants for exactly 8000 damage. You can end the duel by ignoring your opponent's monsters.
・《Ancient Gear Catapult》
Three. The driving force of ancient machines. I added a cyclone before, but I pulled it out. Crack a Field Spell or 《Ancient Gear Fortress》to summon the ancient machine that was on the spot. It's surprisingly easy to get in the way of being chained and the card broken first, or negate it, so if possible, I'd like to activate Ancient Gear Fortress first.
・《Ancient Gear Fortress》
Three. key card. There are many people who only use 2 copies, but the strength of the theme is completely different without it, so I included it as much as possible. It's easy to understand how to grant resistance, and it looks strong, but the fact that it can't be chained is even stronger. The ideal winning pattern is to stick this and deploy it to call 《Chaos Ancient Gear Giant》.
You can Special Summon the Ancient Machine from your hand when it's destroyed while it's face down, but it's useless if it's removed, so it's best to put it face down when you can call Ancient Gear Wyvern or Ancient Gear Howitzer.

"Restricted card." Spell Trap At first glance, it doesn't seem to be necessary because of its suppression effect, but it's used because there are many things that are not good at summoning reaction traps and permanent cards.

1 sheet. The field is empty, but the chaos giant can't do one kill! When you say. In addition, since you can call the next one, you may use more than one, but I think you don't need two in this Deck.
・《Ancient Gear Howitzer》
2 sheets. All effects are useful. If you put 3 cards, your stamina will increase somewhat, but the frame is...

1 sheet. Blockade/Defense. You can easily call 《Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon》, so you can Xyz after attacking with two bodies and destroying the field. There are many cases where it will be removed, but since it is a free chain, there is a grace period of 1 turn.
・《Diamond Dire Wolf》
1 sheet. I was worried about 《Tornado Dragon》, but I thought about the possibility of combining them here. 《Geartown》Destroy and clear EX monster zone.

This also goes great with 《Black Garden》. I was very worried about whether to adopt it due to the frame.

Strength

Even if the opponent lined up ace cards, an average RBI would only target the Chaos Giants, and 《Honest》and 《Electromagnetic Turtle》could not be used. With just one copy, you can aim for victory as well as breaking the board that other decks cannot turn around.

"It's the strength of ancient machines that have been around for a long time." Specialized support for RBI enhancement is surprisingly included in various decks.
③ Add resistance to 《Ancient Gear Fortress》and prevent chains
As I mentioned earlier, the degree of security is completely different with or without this. Urara, Valer, Notice, etc. and most of the meta cards to be targeted will be changed to paper. It's a deck that often wins if you can deploy it, so you want to move as much as possible under the activation.

Weakness

① Special Summon Bind
"Vanity's Emptiness" isn't enough, but let's give up if Christia or a Ritual Monster with a releaser effect stands up. Kaiju can't help it.
② Spell Bind
"It's pretty strict." There is no choice but to fuse Chaos Ancient Gear Giant with the effect of Ancient Gear Hunting Hound to get a one-kill kill, or use Ancient Gear Howitzer to self-destruct and call Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon.
③Monster destruction virus card
"Overload Fusion" is not accepted, so if the monsters are uprooted, you will not be able to see the victory. The Darkness Deck can destroy Geartown or use his GY effect on Ancient Gear Catapult, but it doesn't work.
④《Ancient Gear Fortress》・Kaiju・《Harpie's Feather Duster》removal
"It can handle a considerable range, but it is impossible when it is impossible." Shirayuki is falling but there is no mechanical fortress, and there are many cases where you can't draw Kaiju even though you have 《Ultimate Conductor Tyranno》. Also weak against his Kaiju.
⑤ Defensive cards that cannot be dealt with with 《Chaos Ancient Gear Giant》
