Tuner drawing competition.
If you don't use 《Metaverse》or something like that, you will first see if you can draw a tuner from your opponent, and then you will have a chance. Even if it's not a Synchro Deck, the tuner has 《Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring》, so the chances of the opponent drawing back is roughly 3/35, and he's 8.6%. Also, if the opponent pulls, you lose the tug of war, and it becomes a super add loss card that draws 2 cards and loses LP2000. It is quite dangerous because the opponent may have put in 《Effect Veiler》.
Even if your opponent can't draw and it's your turn, you won't necessarily be able to draw the tuner, and even if you manipulate his deck top, there's no element of late gain. If you lose in a tug-of-war, you lose a lot of money, and even if you win, you get a small profit.
If you gamble, the chances of your opponent will increase, but 《Cup of Ace》will give you immediate results.
