[Reason] If your opponent has one card that negates card effects, and negates 《Opening of the Spirit Gates》, the GY revive effect cannot be used and the final field becomes -1. However, if 《Dark Beckoning Beast》is negated, you can use 《Opening of the Spirit Gates》's GY revive effect, and if you use 《Dark Beckoning Beast》as a link material to revive him, you can use the summoning effect again.
Basically, 《Pot of Desires》should be used first.
