If you negate the attack or give the target resistance, it's a card that doesn't make sense that the effect will pass in the end. It's not that it can't be used at all, but I'd say it's a loss of add.

It has a Shift hand trigger effect against face-down Defense Position monsters, and an effect that cannot be destroyed by battle or effect as long as there is a face-down card.
There are some cards in Subterror Maris that have defensive power, so the main focus is to protect those cards from battle, but it's a little tough to ask for another card. Even if it is activated when it is targeted by the effect, it will not be appreciated that another card will end up receiving the effect.
The 2nd effect doesn't have much merit to keep this card on the field, and it's only a release agent.
In general, adoption has become a difficult effect unless you take another step.
