The anime version was able to activate both at once, but the OCG version ended up being one or the other. It was a slow and risky activation condition when declaring an attack, so there would have been no problem with the anime version. not worth it.
Above all, both effects are in time with Battle Maiden and Gate of Hell. If I could use both effects at the same time as I mentioned earlier, I could still differentiate myself, but...

DD has a reputation for not fulfilling contracts properly.
Combat Trick without GY's DDD or Level 4 or lower DD Pendulum search. Attack Reaction Trap search is very rare.
But after all, it's an attack reaction Trap. Search is useful, but it's hard to rely on this card for search.
In the first place, as long as there is 《Dark Contract with the Gate》, it seems that there is little necessity to rely on this card.

The search effect in the latter half is the favorite, and it can be connected to the Dark Contract search by going through Kepler.
However, the slowness of the attack response is painful, and the corresponding cards are as small as Kepler and Cerberus.
Both have a strong effect, but... a regrettable piece.
