Card Kind Attribute Level Type ATK DEF
Counter Trap - - - - -
When an opponent's Spell/Trap Card, or monster effect, is activated that targets a "Frightfur" monster(s) you control: Negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card, then you can send 1 of the targeted "Frightfur" monsters to the Graveyard, and if you do, Special Summon 1 Level 8 or higher "Frightfur" Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon.) During your next End Phase, banish the monster Special Summoned by this effect.

He doesn't want Frightfur as a condition to activate it.
If you do that much, it's still not enough, but the scope of what you can do is also limited.
In the first place, he is a deck that can't beat Fluffal before he is killed, so he doesn't give priority to defensive cards. Don't give priority to bubble shadows that can serve as countermeasures against metacards and defense at the same time.
To be honest, I don't really need to rely on this for his Frightfur summons in the second half...

Fluffal doesn't have much room in his hand, so he can't really recommend playing cards that don't contribute to deck rotation. If you use it, it is best to use one copy in case you are taken first.
Addendum: With the advent of Frightfur Cruel Whale, you can now additionally remove and fertilize his GY. I will add points because the return is large.

There are still few targeted effects, but there are quite a few non-targeted effects as well.
Although he can pull the trigger himself, it is easy to consume, and I think that there is little need for him to summon Frightfur with this card (even if it is a chimera).
I can bring it with a chain, and I wouldn't say the return is small, but I think it's a card with a strong habit.

Frightfur's Counter Trap, which can be searched from the chain and has a fairly wide negate range.
However, Fluffal's quick attack is not compatible with its versatility, and he basically wants to focus on short-term decisive battles, and he wants to prioritize prosthetics, etc. in searches. I thought it would be difficult.
Also, in the latter half of the effect, it's a headwind that he can't use Frightfur unless he basically targets the saber in the EX zone due to the new rule. Only on this point would a link with his Frightfur name appear.
Impression that it is more difficult to use than it looks, including the weakness to removal that does not target.

Frightfur's long-awaited exclusive counter, high-rate monsters such as Kakuta, Castel, Dabellion, etc., are often targeted by spells and traps. Now it's easier to call Mad Chimera, who never saw the light of day.

Counter Trap that prevents targeting effects on Frightfur and then replaces Frightfur with Chimera or Sabretooth Tiger. However, if you replace it, it will be excluded from your next end.
Since it can be searched with an Edge Imp chain, it works well with Chain Sheep, which is inherently resistant to destruction. Other than that, he is strong against Forced Evacuation, Castel, and Infinity for Frightfur, so there is room for adoption. If you just want a card that can block non-targeted removal, it's not for you.
As for the effect of replacing Frightfur, it would be very delicious if he could revive his Frightfur that he sent to GY with Sabertooth Tiger and fuse another Sabretooth Tiger with Sabertooth Tiger as material before being removed.

Searching for this card when making a DT Sheep is very round
Because it can make Kyouda, Pleiades, and Castel who handle DT Sheep look at him.
It is possible to take board advantage up to +2, so let's quickly use the Sabertooth Tiger as material for the Sabertooth Tiger.
To be honest, the Holy Spear is more highly rated than the March.

Frightfur Death March.
Recently, there are more powerful monster effects that target, so it's nice to be able to negate them.
It's completely useless against cards that don't target, so I can't deny that it's a Counter Trap that chooses the opponent.
I feel like it's telling me to call Mad Chimera for the latter effect, but it's safer to ignore that and call Sabretooth Tiger. Excluding is painful.
Both Mad Chimera and Saber Tiger are fragile without fusion...
