Comprehensive evaluation: 《Waboku》is good.
On top of being destroyed by battle, you can only reduce the damage from one opponent's monster to 0.
Even if you use cards such as 《Wroughtweiler》that are destroyed by battle, if you want to reduce the damage to 0, you can use 《Kuriboh》.
Even if you block consecutive attacks, you can do almost the same thing by sealing attacks with 《Fiendish Chain》.

I don't think there is a worse card than Hero Barrier...and it's a latecomer.
It feels like a card that emphasizes performance.
Unless you value that kind of atmosphere, it won't even be worthy of use.

Elemental HERO has few cards that are meaningful to be destroyed in battle by itself, and it's terribly disappointing to have 0 battles damage in that turn on the condition that it's destroyed in battle.
To be honest, I can't find any reason not to give priority to the attack reaction system or reconciliation.
