You have to go through battle to activate the effect, and I think it takes courage to hit your opponent with such a low RBI. It's not too bad that it can buy you time, but it's better to use Amulet Sword of Light, which is easier, lasts longer, and encourages opponents to use back removal.

It has surprisingly high resistance penetration, but it only buys time for one monster to not attack for two turns. It's only a status that can be hit, so it can't be expected to seal a large monster unless it's hit from a set state.
