Although the first half effect can be chained, it only degrades the speed and return from 《Dark Factory of Mass Production》. sufficient.
It's fun to look at the illustrations that match the no-rare-like effect of disregarding performance, but I think the usability is really bad.

And he is a Trap monster that is not treated as a Trap card following Shadow Bail activated by GY.
I feel that one salvage is not enough, but on the other hand, it has the advantage that it can be activated even if the number is not complete.
Since it is level 3 and has low ability, I think that the priority is low when it comes to using it normally. It might be good to use it in a Deck that uses Rank 3 Xyz and wants Level 3.
It might be good to use it as a wall and a salvage factor with something like Exo.

Both effects are reasonably usable, but both effects are pretty plain. The effect of 1 is quite large compared to Dark Factory of Mass Production as a rival, and it is inferior in both speed and recovery. The effect in the second half is quite tricky, but it's limited to battle destruction and the status is low, so even if you think about this as the main, you can't deny that it's a little unsatisfactory.

The captain is often injured.
The first half effect is vanilla salvage. Since there is already a mass production factory and 《Backup Soldier》, I would like to operate with the second half effect in mind.
The second half effect is to Special Summon this card of GY with 《Marauding Captain》status when Vanilla is destroyed in battle. If it survives, it can be used for Synchro and Xyz, but basically it's a temporary barrier. It may be difficult to use because the trigger is subtle.

The member who is treating the captain is probably "First-Aid Squad", but the effect looks like the injured captain is overdoing it.
The number one effect is the relief stage allowance, but Normal Monster's salvage includes mass production factories and 《Backup Squad》, so one copy might not be enough. Still, if you build an Exo with a salvage axis, there is no loss with a salvage card.
The second half effect is his specialty, but he can summon a strange monster that is not treated as a trap monster even though it is a trap monster. It would be nice if the summoned card could be used as a synchro material or release, but it often ends up in a wall.
I can't deny that both effects are somewhat half-baked, so it's a combination card, but...
