Attack negate and search are strong, but since they are traps that are activated in response to attacks, they are vulnerable to interference, and the binding is tight, so they have a low priority. On top of that, it's a pitiful card that is regulated because it slows down the duel while it can't play an active role in Links.
EM Spell/Trap is relatively small, so if you're going to use it, I'd like to take advantage of that.

There's no problem with searching since all of them have low defensive power, but it's fatal that the expansion from extras is blocked.

It comes with a heavy restriction of EX sealing. Not only Synchro Xyz, but also Pendulum can't use extras, so it tends to be just what you search for. Combined with the fact that EM doesn't have a card to overturn the inferiority, you may have to wait another turn.
