Comprehensive evaluation: There is only the use which throws away a Dark World card etc.
Discarding cards that have triggers when they are discarded will block attacks and lead to their effects, but waiting for your opponent's attack is too late.

Attacking with one card in your hand negate is much stronger than negate reconciliation and Negate Attack.
The point is to throw it away with the effect, and it's a good usability as a Dark World trigger. Especially when this card came out, the only cards that allowed you to discard your hand during your opponent's turn were 《Dark Deal》and Bron's Combat Trick. Having said that, in Dark World, he is stronger at entangling Gates and Graffa with standard moves than forcibly discarding cards, so I wonder if he could have used it before Strak appeared. Just said.

Use to make the battle phase .
It's visible with Continuous Trap, has a high hand cost, and above all, what is it like to self-destruct?

It was used as a card to set up Infernity's handless combo, but first of all, discarding cards from your hand every time you stop an attack is too expensive.
Currently, there are a lot of other cards such as Continuous Trap, which stops the attack and ends the battle phase, and cards that discard cards, so I think that comboing with subtle defense cards is outdated.

It's even officially poked in, but although there is no turn limit, one card in your hand is not worth the attack negate.
That's why I want to find meaning in discarding my hand, but the passive condition of when the opponent attacks is holding me back. It's slow and easily dealt with in this age of removal rampant. Even if you throw it away, there will be a more effective way to handle it.
I think it's a bad card because it's slow + heavy + opponent dependent.

I was able to handle it well because I was satisfied, but in reality it is quite difficult
Even though you can discard your hand with the effect, it's passive and slow, so it's tough

Since he is discarded to GY by the effect, it is possible to combo, but considering that it can only be activated when the opponent's monster declares an attack, it takes too much effort to combo.

A card that has been said that one card in your hand is not worth it to stop one attack even in anime.
You can keep discarding cards with its effect, so you can find useful value there, but the condition is passive, and you can see it from the second time onwards, and it self-destructs on its own.
Even if you just want to discard your hand, other cards will definitely do a better job.

Attack negate with one card in hand. A long time ago, it would have been stronger...
Although it can be used many times even in the attack negate, Mr. Scarecrow is too good because it has a self-destructive effect.
Also, discarding one card to stop an attack is a bad addition, but...

It's a tough balance.

Scrap-Iron Scarecrow》is enough to block a lot of attacks.

Continuous Trap that seals the opponent's attack by discarding your hand.
If you use it normally, it's undeniably a waste to stop an attack with just one card in your hand. It is used to make full use of Dark World and Fabled, and to aim for handslessness in Infernity.
But even so, as a means of discarding cards, it's too passive because it's through the opponent's attack declaration, and the time limit is also unpleasant. If there were no restrictions, I could have thrown them away as needed to prevent them, but...
Even if I discard my hand, I still want to accomplish something else with it.
