It can be set and drawn by destroying Ghostrick, and since it has no effect when reversed, it is basically used as a deployment aid for the next turn.
However, Lantern, Frost, Marie, etc. can keep the board open, so it's a little difficult to counter them with care + 1 draw when the board is returned.
It's not difficult to use, but there are many cases where there are not enough frames to adopt.

I love cute ghosts like this.
A level 1 hand trigger group, if your Ghostrick is destroyed by an opponent's effect or an attack from your opponent and sent to his GY, you can SS from your hand with face-down defense and draw 1. Ghostrick has a common restriction that he cannot perform Normal Summon without Ghostrick in play, so this card is excellent to keep his Ghostrick in play. In addition, it has a 1 draw effect, so you can maintain the field without reducing your hand, making it a fairly easy Ghostrick to handle.
However, it doesn't work very well with Field Spell, and in the backside Defense Position, he ignores monsters with the common effect of Ghostrick Field Spell and attacks directly, so there are situations where it is difficult to make use of the effect.
However, even with that in mind, it still supports effect destruction, and can maintain the field as usual until the Field Spell is attached or after it is removed, so it is normally useful.

Along with lanterns, Recurring Nightmare can literally rebuild a wall, so it's perfect for recovery after Jiangxi is removed as a defensive card.
