For some reason, the work that Pumpking, who was used by Honezuka in the original work, was taken away by a monster that wasn't even an undead used by a completely unrelated duelist.
As for Pumpking himself, he has become a monster that parasites to this card and powers up.
Both Pumpking and this card are pretty impressive monsters, so honestly, I want both Bonezuka and Yami PK remakes to be remade.
His defensive power is enough to block the attacks of Gemini and Mechahan, so he wasn't a barrier to the low-level undead in the 1st term, so he was quite useful at the time.
In the game, at level 4, he was an ATK 1200 / DEF 2500, a terrifying low-class monster whose activation effect turned all monsters on the field to face down and turned the field into darkness, resulting in a DEF of 3250.

In the OCG, for some reason, it is related to the Pumpkin of Bone Mound, and its own effect strengthens undead instead of demons.
However, this enhancement is quite difficult to handle, and although it increases by a total of 800, it takes 4 turns to get there, so it feels even slower.
The increase value in one turn is as low as 200, and in the current era of removal and RBI inflation, it is doubtful whether it can be strengthened properly.

When it first appeared, it wasn't that bad of a card because it wasn't destroyed by low-level attackers and it could pump up allies. However, in an era where you can easily exceed 2000 RBI in one turn, it is nearly impossible to fight with this slow effect.
