Comprehensive evaluation: It is unsatisfactory that only penetration is obtained.
There are 1800 hit points such as "Ancient Gear Knight" even if you look at the lower level of Dual, and there are already "Sea Serpent Warrior of Darkness" etc. as Sea Serpent.
The only thing you can get is penetration, and it can't be used unless you're trying to strengthen it or aim for tokens.
It could be useful if you're using both Dual and Sea Serpent.

It has a piercing effect like a spearman, but the piercing effect obtained with Dual is too lonely.
It's safe to say that it's practically the same as a vanilla attacker with 18 RBIs.
Monsters that don't have effects that can be activated on the field, or that have effects that don't exist, are often ironically called "virtually vanilla", but in the case of this card, it's a Dual, so if you don't summon it again, it's literally a real vanilla.
Sea Serpent already had Sea Serpent Warrior of Darkness in low-end vanilla with 18 RBI, so it wasn't a card I was particularly grateful for.
