Comprehensive evaluation: It becomes a support when using the effect of 《Naturia Fruitfly》.
If you combine pierce, "Blind Spot Strike" is fine.
That one is a Quick-Play Spell, so you can use it as soon as you draw it.
In order to strengthen your own monsters, it is also null for combos with monsters that can attack continuously.
It is possible to reduce the defense power of your monsters to 0, but there is no such opportunity.
《Darkworld Shackles》can also be used to increase defense to 100, making it easier to use as a combat support.
Useful only when comboing with 《Naturia Fruitfly》, which can take control of the opponent's defense power 0, or when aiming to negate with 《Branded Disciple》.

It's true that if you combine it with Penetration, you can deal tremendous damage, but you can't change the battle position, so it takes time to combo.
Don't worry about it being slow because it's a trap card. If I were to use it on opponent's turn, would it be about Superheavy Samurai's meta?

It can neutralize defensive power and can be used in combination with penetrating ability to deal high damage.
However, as already said, unlike his ATK, his defensive power cannot protect himself even if he is incapacitated, so his usefulness is slightly lower than the decrease in RBI.
Currently, it is quite rare to see the defense itself, which is further encouraged by the appearance of Link.
It can be said that some sort of battle position change card is required for activation. You also have to consider the possibility of spoilage.
Furthermore, the existence of the Quick-Play Spell 《Blind Spot Strike》, which can do almost the same thing, although the effect is different, is also painful.
The effect itself is different and you can target yourself, so you can do completely different moves, but it still fades before the advantage of a Quick-Play Spell.
A combo card that is very difficult to handle on its own.

For better or worse, the problem is that there aren't many situations where you want your opponent's Defense Position to be 0 with a Trap card.
Needless to say, the link reduced the chances of activation even further.
In the first place, his Goblin assault force in the illustration should have had zero defense from the beginning...?

You can lower your defense as much as possible, but unfortunately there are many things that you can't do just by lowering your defense.
It would be nice if it could be a combo by lowering the defense power of your monsters, but at the moment it's just enough to avoid landslides.

It works well with piercing effects, but since it has 《Blind Spot Strike》, it's a little difficult to use. The compatibility with removal cards that refer to defense power is moderate, but if you're going to use this card in the first place, it's fine to use that frame as a removal card.

I feel like the goblin assault force didn't have any defensive power to begin with...
Since the defensive power is set to 0, unless it has battle destruction resistance, it can be destroyed without fail. It is especially compatible with monsters with piercing effects.
… However, that role has now been taken over by a Quick-Play Spell with a similar effect, 《Blind Spot Strike》.
