There are some combinations that can't be leveled up because the card name is not written and you can't use the effect unless you level up.
Special Summon In possible combinations, Horus Black Flame Dragon LV6 → 8 or Silent Magician LV4 → 8 are practical kana.
Isn't Silent Swordsman bad too?

However, there are things that cannot be effective unless they evolve with the effect of the LV itself, so it is not useful for all LVs.
