Comprehensive evaluation: It can be used on monsters that can become Defense Position by its own effect, but it is difficult because there is no additional effect.
Instead of having a condition, he can say "Upstart Goblin" without LP recovery, and if you use "Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress" with the effect of becoming a Defense Position, you can easily draw 1.
There is also 《Draw Muscle》that can grant destruction resistance and can be used against monsters in Defense Position from the beginning, but neither of them are competing, and you might be able to aim for her deck reduction by using them together.
《Jar of Greed》might be better if you want to earn chain blocks.

If you change your battle position to Defense Position, you will get a draw.
What you are doing is interesting, but the problem is that the return is not good enough.
This makes it almost backward compatible with 《Jar of Greed》and 《Legacy of Yata-Garasu》, which can unconditionally draw one card.
