Since it requires more Tribute, it is a Quick-Play Spell compared to Reflector and can be deployed from GY.
However, since the essential laser has poor performance, the usefulness of this card will inevitably decrease.
For the time being, it has the name of Photon, and it can be treated as a Photon monster with Magical Hats, which is searchable from No. 90, but this card itself is not an effect that synergizes with Photon, so it is hard to say that it is an advantage.
It's a tough card with little value to include in either Cydra or Photon.

Laser Dragon is not as powerful as using 2 Sidera on the field
If there is a slot to insert such a card, it is much stronger to insert a fusion card
