Replacing is a curse, and even if he excludes resources from GY, there is a possibility that other resources will be replenished from the exclusion. In the GY meta, Crow and Grave, and in the exclusion meta, Burial from a Different Dimension is easier to use due to greed and different dimensions, so there aren't many situations where this card has to be used. As already said, if you can target your boyfriend's GY or exclusion zone, it would be much easier to use... Good
