I might be overthinking it, but maybe the reason why the illustrations were rewritten from TF is the same reason as Psycho Commander. (Zombies were also rewritten.)
For some reason, the TF version of the illustration has a pose that makes it sound like someone is shouting, "The best in the world!"
Regardless of your opponent, if a monster on the field is destroyed, you can expand your hand, and although it is highly dependent on combos as a deployment member, as a level 2 RBI, it can also be used to recover pursuits and removals.
In GY, you can avoid destroying TG only once by excluding it. There are plenty of removals other than destruction, so it's just a comfort, but it's not bad.
Other than the effect, it's level 2, so it's also an advantage that it supports Junk Ron like a catapult.
It's not unusable, but I can't deny the impression that it's just as unsatisfactory as Gear Zombie.

Rather than the effect itself, is it more delicious to be a level 2 non-tuner, which is the second card in T.G.? A more versatile effect than Catapult Dragon, you can use his T.G.
However, I can't say that the part and the effect of myself are very compatible. Using a scapegoat effect removes himself, hiding the all-important advantage that his Junk Synchron can pick up.
Even the original T.G. has a thin layer of level 3 tuners, making it difficult to contribute to synchronized development. I can't help but feel a little unwelcome in the surrounding environment.
