That said, you can actually do the same thing by playing 《Ancient Gear Wyvern》and searching for him and normal summoning him, and even if you use it as a link material, there are many useful cards such as 《Therion "King" Regulus》.

Same-name summons are not unusable, but as already said, Ancient Machine has plenty of release reduction support and is inferior to 《Machine Duplication》even if you look at it as a deployment card for Machine.

I can expand my hand, but for that, I have to prepare this guy on the field first. It's honestly tough with this effect and status on the premise of multiple adoption.
There are plenty of supporters because of their low stats, but there are many others who can do the same thing. You can have 2 release personnel, but the Ancient Machine is easy to reduce the release depending on the city, and even the giants are often summoned by Special Summon Deck. It's not even a deck that goes out of its way to aim for rank 2.
If you can't even search the box, I think it's impossible to adopt this guy.

Hand NS, 《Machine Duplication》, Dai Gusto Phoenix XYZ, Effect activated, Collected at maintenance area, SS, Catshark XYZ, Use effect on Dai Gusto Phoenix for 6500 damage.

Special Summon It's nice to be able to do it, but it's a tough place to have to prepare one in advance. If you don't care about the race, there are many other easy ways, including the card Machine Duplication that allows you to Special Summon this card more easily than this effect.
