It's not a weak card by any means, but due to the nature of its effect, it's surprisingly rare to find a Spellcaster monster like him that you want to put into play, use as material, and return to your hand again. It's effective if there is a monster like Aleister the Invoker that has both an effect that activates on the field and an effect that activates in the hand, but unfortunately there is a category card called "Invocation" that can be removed during the move. I'm going to put it away, so I don't have a turn here.
It works well with monsters like 《Jester Confit》that don't have a turn 1 name, but honestly, I feel like a resurrection card would be fine. Search is not effective, and since it is a card that can be traded one-for-one, he is a very good matchup, so unless Spellcaster comes out, there is little room for adoption.
