The effect of (1) is that you can exchange cards, and if you activate it during your opponent's turn, you can activate the effect when the target "Metaphys" monster is banished on your next turn.
I think it's also excellent that Gold Sarcophagus turns into a search effect due to the effect of (2).
I think it's important to note that you can only use one of either effect in a turn.

Metaphys' Continuous Trap pushes you to even greater heights.

Until now, I've been satisfied with the too slow search of Golden Chest + Nephthys, so I'm grateful that it's now possible to search immediately. As a food for Ashime and Executors, it also increases his Metaphys rate on Deck.
If (1) and (2) could be used in the same turn, it would have worked well with the macro.

Metaphys's new Trap, which has two powerful effects: Swap and Search.
The 1st effect allows you to exchange cards while excluding Metaphys. Since it is a Trap, it cannot be used as a haste, but since it can be used during the opponent's turn, it can be read as a dimension trigger. I am grateful that Ragnarok can be practically 6-stacked, and on the contrary, I can search even if it is excluded by the effect of Ragnarok.
