During Flip Summon, he can Special Summon, so I guess he's supposed to use it in combination with Krawler. Searching for relic cards is also a good match for him with Krawler.
His Krawler support for relics is quite strong, such as shadows cast on relics and puppets of relics, so being able to search for them is a big deal. Also, because of his high stats, he can handle high RBI opponents that Krawler is tough on to some extent.
