Even if you use it alone, if the opponent's monster's ATK is more than double your own LP, you will end up defeated.
By activating a chain of 《Enchanted Javelin》etc. and recovering, you can almost certainly surpass his ATK of the attacking monster and aim for revenge.
Furthermore, by raising his ATK, you can increase the damage if he is destroyed in battle afterwards.
If 《Life Equalizer》was active, we might have been able to win with 3000 damage combined.
However, the activation conditions are extremely tight.

A Trap monster with a very limited and risky activation condition of directly attacking a monster whose ATK is higher than his LP.
