Only non-Pendulum EM can be searched, but the search conditions are unnecessarily strict as when his Special Summon succeeds.
If you try to meet the conditions with Pendulum Summon, you'll be OK with Secondon Key, and when asked if you can use it when you can't search for P monsters with his deck, which is the main axis of P summoning...
