Comprehensive evaluation: Better to use 《Enemy Controller》.
It is possible to outrun the attack and turn the attacked monster into a defense position to neutralize it, but it doesn't pay to recover or take damage to that extent.
Yoi with a card to make Defense Position.
《Prime Material Dragon》can be used to recover the damage, but 《Draining Shield》is enough.

Attack reaction type is deadly. Since there are 《Fiendish Chain》and 《Nightmare Wheel》that can be used in free chains, this card is unlikely to be used. You can negate the attack, but it comes with a drawback. Most of the time you will get burn damage. Since the opponent chooses it, the combo is low, and 《Enemy Controller》, which can stop the monster's attack and put it in Defense Position, is enough. Trap also has 《Windstorm of Etaqua》and “No Entry!!”, so it will not be used.

It has the effect of negate the opponent's monster's attack and fix it in Defense Position, and the opponent chooses whether to burn or recover half of his ATK of that monster.
Stopping the opponent's attack with the effect of the first half is the minimum work for an attack reaction trap. However, because he did the minimum work, he either received a burn or allowed recovery. There are many more traps that are excellent as an attack reaction, and there is little need to use them if they are not jokes.
