There are many factors that make it difficult to use, such as the activation trigger when receiving a direct attack, and whether or not you can take the target monster is unstable, and the control takeover is until your next end phase, and you cannot attack with the effect negate.
It was a tough era to take control, so there are some things that can't be helped, but there are so many downsides that I don't feel like using it for a while.

You can probably use the stolen monsters for Xyz, but since you steal them during your opponent's turn, your chances of surviving are low. Its effect is negate, and although it cannot attack, it can be used as a Release Synchro Xyz.

Direct attacks cannot be blocked, so naturally it would be meaningless if the attack ends the game.
It's not stable and it's for performance.

If you do it well, you might be able to block the opponent's second attack, but you'll get the first shot, so it doesn't work as a defensive card.
However, since there are no Release, Synchro, or Xyz restrictions, it's easy to use the stolen monsters, so I don't think there's anything you can't use if you make good use of it.
