Since it regenerates itself during the next Standby Phase, it is possible to use it as an Xyz material after enduring a single wall.
However, in that case, it would be better to aim for an Xyz summon using deployment assistance.

Unlike the original, it only supports battle, and self-regeneration is slow at standby.
It also requires an LP cost that cannot be said to be cheap. This makes even Malik's fan decks with Ra difficult to use.

Now there are a lot of removals by effects, and it's easy to be removed other than destruction, so I can't expect self-regeneration...
If it was after the 9th period, it would have responded to effect destruction and would have been revived to standby on the next turn without requiring an LP cost.
