The difference from Barrel Behind the Door, which is a Counter Trap, is that it only responds to the opponent's effects, it can be activated from the hand, and it can respond not only to the activation of cards but also to the activation of effects.
Also, unlike his Quick-Play Spell "Curse Reflection Doll", it only responds to opponent's effects and can respond to the effects of Spell Trap cards.
Spell Trap cards also have cards like 《Wave-Motion Cannon》that deal a lot of damage at once, so it's hard to say, but among these cards, Hitogata is the lightness of footwork that this card has. It takes advantage of the high combo of the door gun, and although it is conditional, it also has a GY effect that can be used repeatedly, so I get the impression that it seems to be the easiest to use.

Overall Rating: Metacards, but not too many opportunities to be useful.
It can reflect damage and can be used immediately on the turn you draw it for a Quick-Play Spell.
The advantage is that it can also reflect the damage of 《Wave-Motion Cannon》.
However, there are not many opportunities for opponents to use such cards.
Even if there is, it's better to erase all the damage during the turn with "Hanewata" or something like that, which leads to countermeasures such as [Chain Burn].

It would have been nice if it bounced back for the entire turn, just like in the original, but it's a subtle one-time limit. Unlike 《Barrel Behind the Door》, it cannot be activated during the Damage Step, but it has the advantage of being able to chain to the activation of effects.

burn meta card. Although there are subtle differences such as being able to bounce back 《Wave-Motion Cannon》, compared to 《Barrel Behind the Door》, it cannot be comboed with your own card, and it is a bit tough because it is a card completely for the meta. It wasn't bad for the Magical Explosion meta, but at the moment there aren't many One-Kill Burns that dominate the format, so I don't think it's possible to bring it into the sideboard.

When I was in elementary school, I remember playing around with the popular 《Wave-Motion Cannon》. However, burn cards are almost never used now, and even if they are used, it is usually due to monster effects. If it's a monster effect, you can leave it to the monster removal card, so this card has a lower priority.

A card like a magic cylinder that counters effect damage and bounces back burn effects. It's a meta card with a surprise attack, but Burn itself isn't very popular in the first place.

I can't think of anything but Volka for the burn effect I use these days...
Counter Trap's door gun is a rival, but this is his Quick-Play Spell, so it's easy to use.
However, since it is limited to "opponent", it cannot be used on your own monsters like the door gun.
In that case, it must be said that it is passive, so it doesn't seem to be very active now that the opportunities to activate it are limited.

During the Dogma Blade era, a card that was raised as a means to counter Majiek that was released at the start of one's turn.
With the appearance of 《Hanewata》, which negates for one turn and can also be used as a tuner, I think I'll give up on that part.
Majiek is now restricted, so I'm going to take a break for a while until Brutal Baan reappears.
