However, it is very useful for supporting the activation of Diamond Guy.
It doesn't matter what cards you discard, so you can combo by discarding the Normal Spell you want to activate, placing it on top of the Deck and using Diamond Guy.
You can simply send Dash Guy or Diabolic Guy from your hand to his GY, and since this card itself is a Normal Spell, it's within Diamond Guy's defense range.
