Comprehensive evaluation: It is not bad at the point that some cards which trigger a direct attack can be used.
It's unique strength is that it can trigger effects when "declaring a direct attack" such as 《Battle Fader》.
《Astral Barrier》can't be used in this way because it switches from attacking to direct attacking.
That said, it's hard to get all of them for one turn, and it's difficult to make effective use of them.
Is it enough to protect the wall monster after that?

For the time being, it is possible to combo with a card when declaring a direct attack, which cannot be done with 《Astral Barrier》. Unlike Continuous Trap over there, it is also strong against chain cycles. Use Astral Barrier for 1 turn only if you need it, and don't use it if you don't.
I don't think I'll ever need it, and if I do use it, the permanent 《Astral Barrier》seems to take precedence...
《Absolute End》might be the reason why I can't work with 《Astral Barrier》and need to use this card.
