First of all, if you can release 3 《Scareclaw》monsters, it would be better to Link Summon 《Scareclaw Tri-Heart》without using this card. You won't be able to use Link for the time being, but you can negate the card effect with 《Scareclaw Sclash》etc., so I think it's a bit of an odd card to use as an interception card.
