“What!? Aren’t the Therion monsters racially supportive!?”
Support card for Therion instead of Psychic.
This card is designed to grant "effect destruction resistance", and "Therion Discolosseum" grants "battle destruction resistance".
"Effect destruction resistance" would normally be strong if he was a Therion "card", not just a Therion monster.
Since he is level 8, he can travel to P.U.N.K., a Psychic theme, and use it as material for a level 11 synchro, but Mythic Water Dragon would be fine, right? If you don't have the benefits of equipping monsters, there's no reason to force them.
Maybe because of Emergency Teleport, KONAMI feels like he doesn't want to enhance Psychic.
Then, wouldn't it be better if he from "Pyro" was released in Therion as well...?

As a psychic, he's very effective with Therion.
It's more important that he's LIGHT than his race, and Branded Fusion will drop him to GY.
The unique effect is that if there is equipment on the field, he will grant resistance to effect destruction to all Therions, and if it is Therion, it is easy to achieve the condition.
While removal other than destruction isn't uncommon, it's not a bad board consolidation.

Among "Therion" monsters, I think the strength is that if you have an equipment card, you can give "Therion" monster resistance to the opponent's effect destruction.

Wall of Therion. Just by having an equipment card on the field, he can give all Therion excellent resistance, and with the Therion Deck, with the presence of Therion "King" Regulus, even just putting it out as an equipment will create a pretty solid board.
If you place it in a Psychic Deck, it basically becomes just a wall with no resistance, but it still has a very high DEF of 2800, making it quite a troublesome existence.
