Now that 《Sentry Soldier of Stone》is in decline due to linking, it is a card whose value has increased further in Rock because it can be relatively used for linking.

This strength you can see if you use it. Field Spells are required, but I think the conditions are loose for Triamid, which stacks a lot of Field Spells.
It can't be weak to have a permanent effect that increases the Normal Summon right, and the designation is loose as "Rock". I think it's one of the core pieces of the Triamid Deck, such as putting out a Gorgonic Guardian by lining up 3 here, and raising the RBI with Dancer.
