The search effect itself is unquestionably strong, but it's a reverse, so the one tempo delay is a bit of a bottleneck. However, if you have Shambhala, you can reverse the effect as it is, so you can use the search effect immediately. Shamballa only had access to monsters, so it's good to have access to Spell Traps as well.
The reverse side effect is sober and powerful. With this, he is strong enough to break through Christia, who is weak against Subterror. In addition, he can be used as a free chain if Subterror is present, so it can be used as a Book of Living Moons. Of course, this card is also his Subterror, so it can be used to deploy Maris in your hand. His Subterror card is fine, so it makes sense to use Continuous Spell Fierce Fighting.
It's not flashy, but it's nice to have a solid strength.
The only complaint I have is that the name isn't "Subterror Maris", so it doesn't meet the warrior resurrection requirements.
