It has the effect of excluding 2 GY DDs to Special Summon from the P zone, and destroying his Spell Trap on the opponent's turn to Special Summon from his GY/hand.
However, GY's source is a very important DD, and banishing two cards is quite painful, and if you're level 7, there's Dark, who has better stats than Director, so there's no merit to go out of your way to play it. The effect of the opponent's turn is also a wall, but there is a high possibility of breaking an important Dark Contract, so it is a delicate place to use this as well.
At the moment, it can only be said to be a subtle performance, but I think there is a possibility that it will be transformed if there is a Dark Contract that activates when destroyed, or a DD that activates when removed from GY.
