When S-summoned, it has the effect of forcing the turn player to suffer 1 handicap, and if it is S-summoned on your turn, it will basically only result in a loss, so it is required to be S-summoned on the opponent's turn.
This monster's tuner can be treated as an S summon from the EX Deck by its own effect, and this monster has a monster that can be treated as a non-tuner to perform an S summon using this monster as a material during the opponent's turn. Harifibers were the best companions for this monster, bringing them up to level 3 tuners (such as Hydride and Drogonbaby).
It was a monster with 1 handicap + S summoned monsters interfering with the opponent's turn, but in 2022, Harifiber became a banned card.
Of course, there are other ways to S Summon this monster during your opponent's turn, but it makes me sad to think that I won't be able to find a partner who will have more synergy than Halifair in the future...
