The effect is like his Trap version early burying for Altergeist. It can be treated like a living dead, but unlike over there, it is not a Continuous Trap, but a Normal Trap at the time of activation, so it has the characteristic of being revived even if it is destroyed by a chain cycle. Furthermore, if you destroy it with a chain cycle at the time of activation, the revived monster will be fully revived. Strong ruling due to being treated as an equipment card. If you use this, you can create a situation where you can bounce the opponent + completely revive Altergeist + prepare a revival card for the next turn by chaining Silkitas to the materia and returning the materia at a cost.
The truth is that GY collection people do not want to use them if possible because they can be reused in Silkitas. Well, if you have one, you can revive every turn in combination with Silkitas, so I think you can remove at least one. The effect itself is convenient.
