There are many decks that use monster effects to bring out these monsters in parentheses, and his deck will naturally stop working. Synchro and Xyz, in particular, require you to line up your cards, so it's difficult to stop the effect from developing.
On the other hand, his Pendulum, which is also present in low-level monsters, and Link, which has Link 1, are not that strong, so you need to get help from other cards. This card itself has top-class performance as a lower class, but overconfidence is probably prohibited.
Since you'll be tied down yourself, it's best suited for decks that by their very nature don't move much on their own. Especially in metabi, it will be a new powerful lower class candidate.
