"Homemade Duel Royale Undead Edition" Deck 2023

Playing

I challenged myself to create his 8th deck of Duel Royale, which has become a phantom, and this time I tried to create an undead deck that was one of his powerful deck types in Yu-Gi-Oh until 2004. I can't give a detailed win rate, but although there are some advantages and disadvantages between decks, it is possible to play with a reasonable balance. I would like to specify the reason for using each card and how to move his deck, but it seems to be a huge number of characters, so I will omit it here and I would like to answer questions in the comments.

It's been a while since I posted, and I have some free time, so I would like to explain why each card is used and how to use it.

Strength

《Despair from the Dark》×２
Maximum RBI for this Deck. Basically, you don't have to worry about the effect when it is discarded from your hand, but there is a rare chance that it will be activated by the effect of 《Spirit Reaper》or 《Morphing Jar》. Is it good or bad that the Blue-Eyed Deck is nearly dead by summoning it in the Defense Position...
《Vampire's Curse》×１
A half of a Vampire that revives when destroyed in battle. Since it has 2500 RBI when revived, it shows considerable control power in the match against Bramage. Therefore, it was decided that using multiple cards would be too strong, so I decided to use one card.
《Vampire Lord》×１
The other Vampire that revives when the effect is destroyed. It is very powerful as it has built an era. The effect of scraping the deck is also quite strong if you narrow it down to his spells and traps. Use 《Vampire's Curse》depending on the situation. Adopted one according to the restrictions at the time.
《Patrician of Darkness》×１
A high-level monster with a unique effect that allows you to decide who to fight. It can be comboed with various cards, but the combination with 《Pyramid Turtle》is probably the most obvious.
《Giant Axe Mummy》×１
A high-level monster with a so-called Reverse Cycle effect. To be honest, he's clearly weaker than other high-level monsters, but he was adopted because he plays an active role in the battle against Sacrifice, which Deck is not good at. This is a technical card, so be careful when playing it.
《Devouring Sarcoughagus》×１
A land mine card that can steal an opponent's monster when it is destroyed in battle. Compared to the other cards, it's much younger and has a reasonably high power, but I wanted a card that touched the opponent's monsters with Pyramid Turtle, so I used it. In some cases, it is better not to blindly activate the second half of the effect due to the balance of the resurrection card.

An unsung hero who reacts to destruction by opponents and revives monsters of level 4 or lower. When 《Pyramid Turtle》is revived, its life-extending power is something to behold.
《Bone Crusher》×１
A valuable card that can remove face-down cards, albeit conditionally. However, the conditions themselves are rather strict, and it self-destructs, making it somewhat difficult to use. The card that triggers the activation is 《Zombina》《Mezuki》
Three copies of 《Zombie Master》. Consider the demerits of self-destruction and carefully consider the activation timing.

A low class monster that can be removed from GY to revive other undead monsters. There must have been many people who were indebted to Synchro Undead. This Deck does not use cards that touch the Exclusion Zone, so it is a matter of playing where to use the one-shot resurrection.
《Zombie Master》×１
A low class monster that can revive undead monsters of level 4 or lower by discarding cards from the hand. ATK is also 1800, which is enough and easy to use. The resurrection effect can also specify the hand cost, but in that case, be careful that another resurrection destination must exist in her GY.
《Goblin Zombie》×１
A card like the undead Sangan. The search range is not so wide, but I'm glad that it supports both battle and effect destruction. As usual, the effect of scraping the deck is also strong.
《Pyramid Turtle》×3
A strong card that supports an undead deck. The one that inspired me to come up with the Duel Royale Undead Deck. Depending on the situation, you can recruit your favorite monsters, both high and low, so it's also a card that tests the skill of the player.
《Royal Keeper》×１
Reverse cycle junior attacker. It's a plain card, but it still works well against Sacrifice, and the offense and defense balance isn't bad to begin with. It is also one of the few cards that can take care of 《Lightning Vortex》.
《Double Coston》×２
A quasi-attacker that supports the summoning of superlative monsters. Use 2 extra copies so that you can summon 《Despair from the Dark》in your hand.
《Spirit Reaper》×１
A wall monster with strong battle destruction resistance. Compared to the Rockburn Deck, it can be reused, but basically I want to pass the resurrection card to the attacker, so I decided that there would be no problem.
《Des Lacooda》×１
Third reverse cycle. This is powerful because you can draw one card if you can activate it. On the other hand, since the status is poor, I want to support it with a face down card.
《Bayonater, the Baneful Barrel》×１
A low-level monster that uses its Normal Summon power to apply powerful debuffs to opponent monsters. After the effect is activated, you will definitely get a painful counter, so be careful.
《Foolish Burial》×１
The original GY sending card that has made its versatility known to the world since the synchronized environment. In this Deck, which has many monsters that would be appreciated if sent to GY, it is almost synonymous with a versatile search card. In terms of design, it doesn't look like an undead-only support card.
《Soul Exchange》×２
A convenient card that can be removed while supporting the summoning of high-level monsters. Originally, I wanted to use 《Creature Swap》in this frame, considering the reproduction of the Structure Deck, but it was stolen by the Death Gardius Deck, so I used this instead.
《Book of Life》×3
A resurrection card exclusive to the Undead Deck. As an added bonus, his GY exclusion effect is also powerful as it hits all decks equally. However, you need to be careful because you can not activate itself if there is no exclusion target.
《Lightning Vortex》×１
The usual. Many of the monsters in this deck are good cards even in his GY, so you don't have to worry about the hand cost.
《Monster Reborn》×１
The usual. Flavor-wise, it goes well with this Deck.

A rare Trap Monster in Duel Royale. It can be used in various ways, such as supporting high-level monster summoning and horizontal hitting. The point that it is an original card of Yami Bakura is also GOOD.

Weakness

As you can see from the number of characters in the commentary, it doesn't put as much heat as his Harpie Deck, which he also made himself. However, the power of unique monsters that reign over old and new undead monsters takes shape to some extent. regrettable.
